Yeah, somewhere in history someone decided what was going to be food and what wasn't.

My problem was that the sparrow had so little meat that I think they included more than just meat. It made it a little hard to chew.

Poor little sparrow. (lol. I know the same could be said for any other animal: cow, pig, chicken.)

Good to know about the new set. I have wished there was more variety like that, just even for the practice value.

Ours is starting to fall apart, so we will have to pick up a new set the next time we are back in the US.

Oh... Erica says "Hi" too. And she wants me to tell you that she loves the game too, and that her favorite person on your board is the lady with the huge pink hat.
:-)

Fun timing... I was just working on my scrapbook, doing the page where we played Uno and Jenga with the Tamuras. They were really nice people. Mr Tamura was hillarious to sit next to.

We love Guess Who here at home. Andrew taught Erica to play when she was maybe 3 years old. It helped HER learn vocabulary (especially words like beard, bald, mustache).

What I don't like about the copy you have in the picture above is that its SO ethnocentric. Everyone's white. Our more updated version has more women and different skin tones. There's even a guy who looks like he's from India.

Apparently now they have even "bigger and better" sets, where you can change it from people to animals to whatever else. Sounds fun... but we aren't keen on spending the $ for it.

Regardless what board used, its still a fun game!

We were SO GLAD to see you too!
And you're right, it was good for us to get a glimpse of what your life there is like. It definitely helps with knowing how to pray / what to pray for.
